1. Controller

The controller responsible for data processing on this website is Lars Treptow, Im Wiesengrund 7, 34393 Grebenstein, Germany, email: treptow.lars.schule@gmail.com.

2. Hosting

This website is hosted by Netlify Inc., San Francisco, USA. When you visit the site, the host processes technically necessary data such as your IP address, the date and time of access and your browser in server log files. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; my legitimate interest is the secure and stable operation of the website. A data processing agreement is in place with the host.

3. Contact form

If you write to me using the contact form, I process your name, phone number or email address, school year, chosen package, preferred location, preferred times and message in order to answer your request and, if applicable, arrange tutoring lessons. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to entering into a contract). The form data is stored by the form feature of my hosting provider Netlify and forwarded to my email inbox. If you are under 16, please ask your parents to send the request.

4. Contact by email or WhatsApp

If you contact me by email or WhatsApp, I process the data you share only to handle your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). For WhatsApp, the privacy policy of WhatsApp Ireland Ltd. also applies.

5. Storage period

I delete your request once it has been dealt with if no tutoring is arranged. If we work together, I keep your data for the duration of the tutoring and keep invoices for as long as tax law requires (up to 10 years).

6. Cookies, tracking and fonts

This website does not set cookies and does not use any analytics or tracking tools. The fonts are hosted locally, so no connection to Google is made.
